| PNWD | Pacific Northwest District Assembly Gather with hundreds of other UU’s from throughout the country. Be educated and inspired to walk out into the world shining the message that our lives matter and our actions make a difference! This year there are 30 diverse and compelling workshops being offered by district ministers, UUA representatives and lay leaders in the areas of Congregational Leadership, Spiritual Growth, and Faith in Action. Workshops were chosen to have a multigenerational appeal. There are workshops to interest everyone. Our featured speakers are Bill Harley, www.billharley.com, and Rev. Peter Morales, the new president of the Unitarian Universalist Association www.uua.org If you register before January 14th you will receive a substantial discount. We have added an economical “no meal” option for children & youth, and we have reduced the late registration fee for children & youth, too. These changes are reflected in the on-line registration form at www.pnwd.org. We also invite you to come and serve the wide UU community through service. Our data base of volunteers continues to grow, but we are still seeking volunteers to support this ambitious District Assembly agenda. Whether you are coming as a delegate or as a participant, your assistance as a volunteer will make this a memorable event. We can use your help in the bookstore, as a greeter, as an usher at one of the main events, assisting during a workshop, meal oversight, room set-up or take down, or for the general breakdown on Sunday. If you are a hand-drummer, we encourage you to volunteer for the drum line at Friday night’s opening ceremony. |
